Default Question about installing games in the Windows 7 Programs Files folder

most of my games are automatically installing into the Program Files (x86) folder, like Left 4 Dead. I'm currently installing GTA4 into the Program Files folder n see what happens. Is this a good idea or should i just reinstall n put it back into the Programs Files (x86) folder like it wanted to? I mean, this game does support 64-bit via the retail box.

same goes for Crysis too.

Default Re: Question about installing games in the Windows 7 Programs Files folder

I would just install them to the (x86) folder. While the game may support 64 Bit that doesnt mean that the game itself or the installer is 64 Bit. Could be a 32 bit installer which is why it is choosing to install to that folder.
