Default Processes Taking Up Too Much CPU

for the new laptop that I got, certain processes essential windows are using up too much CPU power compared to my PC, where it barely uses any

the ollowing are the processes that are using most of the CPU power:
csrss.exe
nvsvc32.exe
spoolsv.exe
svchost.exe

each are taking up 10%, anyone know why this is happening?

The processes are normal background processes of Windows, they usually only use the idle (= free) processing power of your cpu so they shouldn't slow down any other programs or games.

If you want, you should be able to reduce the amount of cpu time they use by disabling unneeded system services. Here's one tutorial about the subject: http://www.techspot.com/tweaks/winxp_services/
