  |  Problem with saving stuff Was just wondering, when I go to save a file of any sort on the "File Name" line it always has the extension as well, I never used to have this till I formatted so I obviously did something but I don't know what. Is there anybody who knows how to stop this from coming up all the time please? Thanks heaps in advance

 | in the Folder Options, you can set whether or not you want known file types to be displayed. also, some programs and file types just do that.
