I'm having an issue with my keyboard in a game. I use the WASD keys to move, and one of my key combination is CTRL + Number Pad 5.

When I'm holding 'W' to go forward, Ctrl + 5 doesn't work. It never detects the '5' press, however, when I'm turning or whatever using the ASD keys, it works fine.

My question is, why wouldn't Ctrl + Number Pad 5 work while pressing 'W', but it works while pressing A, S, or D? Know of any way I can fix this?

Edit: Also doesn't work for Ctrl + Number Pad 7. All other Ctrl + Num # combinations work while pressing 'W'.

Only reason I can think of is that most games disable Ctrl+W because in Windows that closes the current window which would of course close your game. If you say it works with any other number though I have no sure answer.

Do you use any macros?
