Playing recovered corrupted mp3 files

I had an external drive that crashed so I took the disks out of the case and hooked them up internally... and recovered some mp3's off the drive. The files however are still corrupt... The entire BAD disk read as RAW File type. Now that I have the mp3's on another backup drive, how can I uncorrupt these files, my operating systems file format was ntfs... and the drive that the mp3's use to sit on was ntfs as well. Any thoughts?

There is no way to "uncorrupt" files, its odd that if they weren't completely usable that you were able to recover them at all..

The only measure is to have multiple back ups.

I have every song, video file and movie backed up onto at least three different harddrives and then hard copies on DVDs or CD-R's.

If one HD goes, so what, I have another, if for some ODD reason, all my HD where to die or suffer some data lose at once, so what, I have all my files on Removable media..

Hello,

Ste is right. You can not uncorrupt the drive. You have to create a new partition where the old one was and use Recovery Software to get the data in possibly working condition.
