I met a techincal problem in my vista home. I installed an anti-virus software recently, however, when I completed the installation , I cannot see directly of the picture image even I set it in a high display requirement.
Go to Control Panel\System and Maintenance\System. On the left click Advanced system settings. In the advanced tab under the performance section, click settings. Make sure "Show thumbnails instead of icons" is checked.

It is this. The Thumbnails is not enabled for the Vista Basic theme which you are using.
