there seems to be some programs out there which are not freeware. but they have trial period. i dont' know how often my users needs to convert pdf-> doc or xls. so i'll just give her the trial version for now.

and i take it she didnt apply the password either.....

she doesn't need a password to open and print it out but not to save the changes. oh well.

I think you can bypass the password with paperport
