I dont think I have ever seen a program to do this. If it is a one time thing, could you just copy all the text and paste it into a word document? I think there is some kind of copyright problem to convert PDF to anything else. I know open office will save a file as PDF but not the other way around.

you mean, 'i just don't want "HER" to research...'.
anyways. i guess it's fine then.
there seems to be some programs out there which are not freeware. but they have trial period. i dont' know how often my users needs to convert pdf-> doc or xls. so i'll just give her the trial version for now.
thanks for looking into this =)

This is what you can do.

Adobe Acrobat 6 or 7 if you have it. Open the .pdf, click file, then save as, and save it as a .doc or .xml or whatever other format you need.

You can copy and paste from one to another

Why are you wanting to convert them? Do you need to edit them?

hah. cool. i got it.
for some reasons, when i tried save as... ealier (maybe it was acrobat 6.0, not 7.0..???) the file came out totally messed up. but this time (with 7.0) it worked perfectly fine. thx

ya, she needs to edit the file. there are only few forms but she's been using typewriter every time she needs to edit them in the past while...
