Default Partitions messed up, won't delete.

Anyway, Partition magic tried to merge two partitions, messed up, left me with a whole 40GB partition missing. So I decided to wipe the whole disk. Got everything important backed up on a 20GB hard drive that is now not connected to the computer.
So I use the XP Cd to delete and manage partitions as I usually do, but when I go to one of my partitions that messed up, it says it cannot be deleted. After that, it said the whole hard drive couldn't be read from.

So now I'm using AutoClave from a boot CD to completely zero out the hard drive. Gonna take a good 4 hours or so, being a 120GB hard drive. Will this fix it?

Should fix it... I was going to recommend Dariks Book and Nuke, but yours will work just fine (in theory).

Yeah, that one was on the CD too. I just picked the first one on the Hard Drive Wiping list. It's a great CD though, got hundreds of little utilities like that. Might wanna' check it out, called Ultimate Boot CD.

I have heard of that CD. I think you will be fine once the program wipes out your drive.
