Default Partitioning Windows Vista 64-bit home premium?

I have a 180gb harddrive
I already have 2 partitions in my drive that are 88gb big each

Is it possible to make a 3rd parition?

I went to right click on computer > manage then went to disk management and the most i could shrink on drive d was only 1300mb. on drive c (windows xp installation) it was only 600mb.

Is there anotehr way to make a bigger partition preferably 12gb big?

Use something like GParted. You have to have at least 12GB free in order to do it though.

The reason you can't shrink those partitions the way you want is because you don't have enough free space. You'll need to free up some space or get a bigger hard drive.

For Vista home premium you need 40 gig drive/partition with 15 gig of free space.
