| Hey guys I'm not completely stupid when it comes to this but I have been having major problems with setting up POP3 mail I can receive with no issues but there is an issue with my SMTP settings. The lastest is that Orange have given me the correct SMTP server to use however I'm still getting "an unknown error has occurred" ect ect. What can I try? Cheers |

| You will have to contact your ISP and have them walk you thru the POP mail setup. You will need the setup for the outgoing server which should be something like pop.somethign.com so that you can send mail at the same time you should already have the smtp setting since you can reciveve mail. Just need the pop settings. If anything you can try to replace the SMTP settings. Just replace the SMTP.oran.com with pop.orange.com and see if it works.
