| I have a Sony Vaio Laptop running Windows XP. All of the sudden when I boot it up it automaticly says Operating System not found. It will not boot just keeps saying the same thing with any buttom I hit. After turning it of and on a few times it will boot and run normal. Sometimes it takes clicking it off and on 10+ or more times before it boots up and I know that isn't a good thing to have be doing! Anyone have any idea what has caues this? I have done a system restore and ran 2 different virus scans and adware/spyware programs. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. |

| Insert the XP Disc. From there go to the recovery console. When in the recovery console do a fixboot and a fixmbr. That should work. If not then i wouls seriously think about doing a repair install. If that still doesnt work. Then install XP again. If that still doesnt work. Contact Sony and have them fix your laptop.
