Default Office 2007 Product Activation

On Wednesday I Installed Office 2007 on a clients PC
I understood that 30 days was given before the product needed activating
However he rang this morning to tell me he can only Print the document & is not allowed to change anything, most of the Options are no longer highlighted

Not having used Office 2007, does the product Activation only allow so many documents to have been opened opposed to a 30 day limit ?

Can my Client use an older Version of Office while we get the product activated ?

Thanks for all help

It allows so many uses, not days.

Trotter is right. Everytime Word or Outlook is opened it takes a use off. There is only so many uses allowed.

Since it was installed on a Clients PC it should be able to be activated. It should be legit software.

I dont think a uninstall/re-install will do it either. I just install Office 2007 Ultimate and it only gave 3 days till i activated. Not 30. 30 day trials were for Office 2003 not 2007.
