My computer starts up and, Svchost.exe has encountered a problem pops up so close that.
Only thing is my wall paper no icons of anything no start menu etc... ctrl alt del does not work. I can move the mouse around. Safe mode the screen is all back , no ctrl alt del but the mouse moves.. Can any one help me here?

1 word... Reinstall, but not before running an extensive virus scan.

can you get into safe mode? or does it error there as well? you may have to do a repair install, also what version of windows are you using?
