everytime i insert a cd, my drive doesnt auto run it or anything and when i right click on it and select autoplay, it just gives me a list of programs to open it with. any help?

also not when a game cd is inserted, the picture that usually appears on the drive doesnt not even appear

Try this:

#1 Double-Click on "My Computer"
#2 Right-Click the drive(s) you want to auto-play --> Properties
#3 Click "AutoPlay" on the sub-menu on the top of the toolbox
#4 Select your autoplay options.
