Default New problem - reboot loop

So I just got done installing updates for Microsoft Office, went to restart my computer for hte updates, and now I am greeted with an infinite reboot loop.

Bios and everything flashes up ok, I get the Microsoft loading bar that happens right before you get into Vista, and then I get a black screen with only a cursor visible (and movable), and then after some time it reboots and begins a new!

Trying to get into Safe Mode gets me the same results.

Is there any way out of this that doesn't involve me formatting and installing Vista for the third time in two days?

What caused you to reinstall Vista twice already? Could it be one of the Vista updates that is causing it not one of the Office Updates?

Well I've had a bunch of issues with my newest build, the 1st and 2nd installs were just to try and fix some driver/software problems with my 4870. For the reboot loop, I ended up making a Vista Recovery Disc and did a system restore from there, so far all is well. Even my hardware/software issues have been resolved apparently. We'll see if it lasts!
