No link at all. except for we share the same ISP. Which ive already contact them. Everything is normal. No Security Threats, no outages, no nothing.
Seeing this is the only thing you stated they all have in common I would suspect your ISP to be the culprit

^but its not his internet thats slow., Its the entire computer.

The big connection is, they are all trusted freinds/users. So an infection could have easily spread.

But is it possable for a virus on 6 different michines to repair itself at the same time with no connection to one another except the ISP ? that was my best guess

Ok guys. Thank you for all the input. I have found out what happened, how it happened and all that good stuff.

Now...to set everyone str8,

The 6 computers are as follows

3 Compters (Leasing Office on a network)

1 Computer (Customer of mine---lives 4 miles away from me)

1 Computer (Customer/Friend of mine-Lives 14 miles away across the city)

1 Computer (Mine)

No connection to each other at all. we all have different Cable Modems (assigned by Time Warner Cable), we are NOT networked together (we have our own sperate networks), and we do not have a VPN. The common things of these computers are Comodo Internet Security, and ISP. That is it.

2 Computers were actually turned off at the start of this (not being used) and when the owners turned them on, they began experiencing the same problem.

My computer only had two programs running (same programs i run everyday...well, HAVE to run)

and the leasing office computers arent ALLOWED to do anything other than work related things (i am their network administrator and ive blocked them from almost everything).

However, After days of researching, I found out the cause of this mess (keep in mind that the problem corrected itself after 24-26 hours and all computers are back to normal and working properly).

Follow this link below

Thanks for all the help and input guys!

So it was the Antivirus database.. sounded lik a scan problem.. not saying I knew what the problem was but it only makes sense.

Oh, hi bass1702

I didn't realize that you had posted on multiple forums, when I helped you on the other forum
I'm glad that I mentioned that the common denominator was Comodo (I did say Office as well)

I hope I helped your support techs resolve the issue
