Default Nero/format conversion

I have a Windows Media Player Video Clip on my harddrive, it is a MPEG - Layer 3 format. It's the movie 'Initial D'.

I want to burn it to DVD using NERO but the file is uncompatible with Nero.

I downloaded 'Ultra WMV Converter' & 'Ultra MPEG Converter' but neither will recognise the format either. The file doesn't drag and drop and it doesn't show up in 'add file'.

What am I missing.

* Well I'm in an internet cafe and just came across this movie, it's Japanese, subtitled in English and I started to watch it, it looks very good, I want it.

May I know if you were trying to burn the movie as DVD movie or DVD data?
