hello friends
i have nero on windows xp when i try to burn a dvd , nero does not know the dvd drive its not in the drop down menu my dvd burner, the burner is new the disc of nero came with the dvd .its a old pc 4 years old;
any help please

Is the drive seen in the device manager?

upgrade the firmware of the drive or configure the master/slave properly

not sure will look but i do have a programe called express burn,
and it knows the dvd drive is there and it works ok

Hello i wasnt available to respond.

Well first you said you didnt know. Then you said another application knows teh drive is there. Taht is totally different from LOOKING at the Device Manager like i asked.

That means you need to get a updated version of Nero or this one installed wrong.
