Need help Regarding Firefox!

Well I am facing problem with my favourite browser i.e; Mozilla Firefox.

when ever I open Firefox, no pages r loaded. It says check Your connection or check whether ur Firewall is blocking it.

Although IE7 and opera browsers are working fine. Can any one suggest me some way to get my browser back to its working condition?

Have you tried uninstlling it and re-installing it with removing all teh folders/files related to it?
