Alright first off here are my specs:

(800Mhz FSB) Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU @ 3.2GHZ 1MB w/ Hyper Threading

DDR400-800MHz FSB)ASUS P4C800-E DELUXE I875PE 800MHz FSB 8X AGP

1024 MB (512MBx2) PC3200 400MHz Dual Channel DDR MEMORY

ATI RADEON 9800 PRO 256MB DDR AGP 8X W/ TV-OUT & DVI

I have the following problems at bootup i get message saying detecting IDE.... then it says no drive attached to Fastrack controller. My Asus Booster temp/fan monitoring program doesnt detect any of my fans speeds, as the probe program doesnt detect them as running either. Under BIOS it says Primary IDE is not detected. Lastly im not getting any sound from my computer. I have an onboard 3dwave sound card. If you guys can help me fix any of these problems Id greatly appreciate it.

hmm, u have almost same specs as mine . tell me about hard drives?

IDE or S-ATA?

how many?

else Optical Drives.

for Fan thingi, check if it doesnt as well shows up in BIOS settings (power controls - I Believe)

is your OPtical Drive Detected?

and are you using thin line cables on ur hard drives ot thick lines?

have you tested your hard drives on some other PC?
as well check the power connctors on the hard drives, exchange with others so see if they arent culprit.

lastly, have u updated your BIOS?

I have a single 80gb seagate serial ata hard drive. I figured the fan problem out is I have thermal display so my fans are hooked up to that and not the motherboard, which is cool. I believe my opt drive is secondary ide and is detected. I have updated bios recently.
