talldude123 Banned Join Date: May 2005 Posts: 7,928	need alot of help! i need to get ready to install windows 98 onto my friends old computer (very old, meets the minimum requirements) the computer will not boot from cd-rom, so therefore, i need a website where i can download the complete windows 98 boot floppy, and the instructions on what to do afterwards (step by step guide) any help is appreciated

use the windows 98 oem bootdisk which has support for cd rom drives to bot from

dont download it to a floppy. download it to your desktop and execute it and it will write to the floppy
