well yes everybody seems to curse windows but but no body actually looks at the users like your grand parents and the users all round the globe who actully learned that computer is something ...specially in the remote contries
now microsoft has really done something for the people around the globe. well im not a follower of microsoft but it be a great feeling when you really appreciate something which is worth of it

According to this article http://www.martiansoil.com/archives/000889.php , Green Hills Software provided the software tools for the live OS and quoting them; "California based Wind River Systems has developed the operating system used by the Mars Exploraton Rovers Spirit and Opportunity as they awaken to life on the surface of the Red Planet and begin to perform semi-autonomous tasks, having been given basic objectives my mission planners back on Earth."

How can M$ do splendours for developing countries if they charge an arm,leg and a nut for a M$ Windows & Office package!?!

You should realize, that other OSes could have done the same. Especially Mac OS X. In fact...they can do so even better. The thing with Microsoft, is that it is such a monopoly...and people who know of no alternatives praise it, and like it.

crickey if you arnt sure go to www.****microsoft.com and you'll really hate them, but theres two sides to every story. Any way NASA I think made their own, while the European explorer used Windows ME...where is it?
