Going back to the original question, the '/scannow' feature, will that fix any problems I have with windows?

I ran Registry Mechanic, Spybot, Defrag and Scandisk, and features on my comp won't work properly now, such as...

> Screensaver won't work
>Programmes take an age to load, there is one **** of a lag on it!!
