Default My computer is always freaking out.

I have a problem with my computer. The CPU is almost always freaking out. On my task manager my cpu will say it is at 0% which is good when nothing is operating. A lot of the time it will be 0 then 30% then 88% then 100% and just keep on doing that pattern and it is really ****ing me off. I will be doing that if I am not even doing anything. PLZ help.

And yet you give no list of processes, no hijackthis log, no screenshot of taskmanager, no description of your computer specifications, operating system, programs you have installed/running and what you use it for.

Ya, we can really help you with the information youve given.....

nothing wrong with being a beginner at something

could be a virus...trojan, malware...etc
download hijackthis...
make sure to save it in the appropriate location...
read the instructions...
post the log on to various forums...this being one

so while you get a hijackthis log...take a quick look at what you have running and see if any of it seems too foreign to you...most likely it will be foreign...but maybe you can spot something that is totally unusual.

ie rocks!! Also give world browser a try....back on topic

do the hijack thing

what is that freeramxp thing
Gateway/emachine...remove primsxl.sys...I don't think you need it

aside from that...get in the habit of never having things run that are not actually needed...like the ipod/itunes thing....a lot of apps like this exist and run...even when you don't use them. (might just be my own computing preference)

freeramxp is a little program that helps free up ram that other programs left behind

Default Re: My computer is always freaking out.

hmm, I just posted this into the hijackthis online analyzer...doesn't seem to be bad...you can't do it yourself here:
HijackThis Logfileauswertung

anyone else have a clue?

also how old is this system and...and run about 3 harddrive defrag sessions...and check for disk errors, scandisk or chkdsk, etc. For all we know, it could just be fragmentation, lol.
