MSN Live Messanger, Dv Video Camera, Vista

Ok I just installed Windows Vista Ultimate and tried to use my DV video camera with firewire in MSN live messanger but whenever i try to start my webcam, msn crashes. I know it worked on xp pro so I am wondering what can I do to fix this. Any Ideas?
