Hello,

We have a pc with XP Home and MS Word.

We have hundreds of documents with images etc in.

Now all of a sudden the images are no longer in the documents. The images have been replaced by the following words...

Embed Static Dib

Any idea what this is and what has caused it???

Have you got the patch for the WMF (Windows Meta File) vunerability? It also affected Office and that could explain why your images are not showing up anymore.

I would go to Windows Update. Then use that to get to the Office update and check it out and see if you need any updates.

Then come back and tell us if that helped or if some other problem is there that we have to figure out.
