Unhappy Mozilla/Netscape incompatible with Front Page DHTML effects?

Hi all,

I've been having a problem for a while, but my memory has been jarred a bit by all the Mozilla speak on this forum.

I use Microsoft Front Page to author a website or two. Sometimes I use the Dynamic HTML effects to draw attention to some texts or bulletins (for those of you who aren't familliar: Dynamic HTML effects cause the chosen text to fly, spiral, wipe, etc.).

The problem is that Netscape (or any Mozilla driven browser) does not recognize the effects. Not only does it not recognize the effects, but it does not display the text either! I've installed the Java 2 update and have upgraded Netscape time and time again, but I can't get it to work! The effects work on IE6, of course.

If you want to see what I mean, go to www.sayatnova.com and see. The top bulletin should come sliding in from the right. Instead, you see nothing.

Any ideas on what the problem might be? I'm sure it has to do with the war between Microsoft's VM and Sun's Java. Thanks

Viken K.
