Question More Resource questions

I had posted the other day regarding losing resources, well today I only have msn open and this forum and already down to 36% on resources. Is this mormal I am running ME and have 512MB RAM.

It is HP 7850 Pavillion, is there another way to check why and how I am losing so much, I feel with that much RAM I should have a lot more resources left????

Cindy

PS: I may be wrong this part of computing is all new to me, ie. te resource and innerworkings of the computer.

That seems totally abnormal. You should check to see what processes are starting when you boot up your PC. Goto start > Run > Type "msconfig" and then goto the startup tab. Do you know how to post a screenshot? If so, post it here with your reply. Or, if you want you can just post the entries that are checked off here. If you know for sure that you don't need a particular process running, then you can simply uncheck it from this window.
