Missing van.dll

Somehow I am missing the van.dll file. Because of that I am not able to connect to wireless networks. How can I replace the file? Thanks.

Use your Windows disc and copy and paste that file into the Windows\system32 folder.

I've uploaded the .dll encase you didn't have the disc.

Download/Get the Dll from your Windows disc,
Open your C:// Drive, and click on the windows folder, then System 32. Then put the DLL inside this folder.

Ack, I messed up on the error message. It said error loading van.dll and that it is not a valid win32 application. I tried to replace it with the one I downloaded but I was denied permission since the System32 folder is read-only and I was unsuccessful in changing the permissions. Thanks.

This is Vista. You will have to take Ownership of the file before you can replace it.

How to take ownership of files in Vista

That will allow you to replace the file.
