Default microsoft office help

so i dont know wats wrong with it i try to open word excel etc. and it wont open and instead it starts to try and install office but it asks for the disk? and even does this when i run explorer but ya i can't download on this computer its blocked how can i stop the computer from trying to install office?

i had that problem b4 but i had the cd so just popped it in and let it do what it wanted. was fine after that

You need to get the cd otherwise this will continue to happen. Is it looking for pro11.msi or a different file?

Must have been set to install at first run or something or the install files were deleted.

if its something that came with the factory install it should be in the restore disks. If its something that you installed after getting/building the computer, then you need the disks. (well both ways you need the disks, but if its factory you should have an OEM copy)

Here are the files from my Office 2003. Unzip them and then when it asks for that file, browse to the folder and see if that works

It tries to repair itself, did you select to delete Installation Files to recver space when you Installed it?
