Default Microsoft Accounting Professional 2007

Since installing windows 7 my accounting software won't work. I get an error about SQL not install, running or the permissions are incorrect. I've tried multiple things including isntalling SQL Express and updating that on my computer (SP1) and it still won't work.

I searched the net for a while for a solution and can't find one. I remember with Vista I had to install a patch for SQL Express that allowed the accounting software to work - but i can't find anything on that either now.

Any input or ideas would be great.

I have tried running as admin, i haven't downloaded the patch that allows Xp compatability mode. I'll try that tonight.

Don't need a patch to use XP compatibility, that's just for XP mode itself. Right click the shortcut > properties > compatibility tab > check the box that says 'run this program in compatibility for:" and then pick the OS.
