Default Messed up

ok so I bought a laptop which came with vista. I decided that I didnt like vista and removed it and installed XP. Well I found out that the drivers for my hardware dont work for XP and I want to reinstall vista. Only problem is for some reason my drive wont read the vista disk. Any advice?

So you're saying that the computer won't load the DVD?

So you already have Vista installed? If so, I think you didn't download and install the driver for the DVD drive.
