Default M-Audio Revolution 5.1 problems....

I have M-Audio Revolution soundcard on my computer for quite some time now. I recently formatted and re-installed the drivers from the website and everything looks fine.

The problem is that my computer does not detect my hardware. I went to the Control Panel > Sound Options and I looked and it only show the "SoundMax Integerated AUdiO". There is no dropdown for M-Audio Revolution 5.1 like there was before I reinstalled.

How do I solve this problem? Their tech support doesn't open until tomorrow so if I could fix it by tonight then that would be good. I mean I'm pretty sure there are basics on how to get WIndows XP Pro to detect your soundcard and stuff.

In the device manager click on the driver tab. Now click update. Now here lead the wizard right to the new drivers from teh website. that should update them.

give it away n get a better card. If ur using XP, get Creative. This card u got doesnt have updated drivers for XP or Vista..........well the Vista one is beta but sucks. Trust me, i gave mine to my bro if he wanted it. My card runs horrible on Vista, but im gonna hold to it for a while.

creative is never better than m-audio. vista support just sucks for it. uninstall your soundmax driver. then disable it in the bios. if your m-audio card don't show up now, install the drivers.
