after installing battlefield and game spy i lost the clicking sound in internet and windows explorer.
i uninstalled them and restarted,same thing.
i can hear other window sounds.
winxp pro(no sp)

any ideas?

check the Sounds and Multimedia option in the Control Panel and in the Sounds tab, check to see if those sounds have a speaker next to them or not. or choose Default Windows Sound Scheme. see if that works.
