i managed to find IconCache.db following step 1 but it did not work, ihave tried doing a repair Repair Install For Vista - Vista Forums but it says as i am on service pack 1 it wont work, as for changing icons mak the answer is no mate, but when i noticed they were missing mate i downloaded icon packages via tune up utilities and applied them but did not work either, i am back to vista icons,do you think the computer will sort this out itself because for a split second i seen them last night and then they dissappeared again.
