Default "Local area connection" icon on winxp

Ok i know how to get rid of it but after a restart its back agian, is there anyway i can make this dissapear and never come back

Go into network connections in control panel then right click the connection and choose properties. Then at the bottom uncheck the box which says show icon in notification area when connected, you can uncheck also notify me when there is limited or no connectivity if you dont want it saying you have no connection depends if your pc is always plugged in or not.
