http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/uk/welcome.htm

http://turbonote.com/spis/runisa.dll?SV:TBNDOWNHELP:829924

although i'm not sure that last ones totally free anymore, but 7.50 usd is a small price to pay for such a cool program.

Default ImgBurn

ImgBurn v1.1.0.0 Released! Friday 2nd December 2005

It has been a while since the initial release, but hopefully you'll see this update has been worth the wait!

Highlights for this release include:

Image Queuing
Verify Mode
Discovery Mode
IBG Files / Write Speed Graphs (in partnership with the excellent DVDInfoPro)

For a full list of all the new features, please take a look at the changelog.

Whilst it appears half the world knew about DVD Decrypter, ImgBurn is still relatively unknown.
If you like what you see, please do recommend it to your friends and family. As it's 100% free, there really is nothing to lose!

If everyone who likes my program donates $2 (or whatever they can afford), I'll be able get more drives working, test with more types of media and add more exciting new features!

Go on people.... Click the 'Donate' button :-)

Oh and on the subject of testing with more types of media, BIG thanks to SVP Communications for helping to make this release possible.

--------------------------------------------------------------

As a side note, and on the subject of Layer Jump Recording, I have 2 drives that seem to support it.

BenQ 1640 and Pioneer 110.

Both are running latest firmware (BSMB and 1.37) but neither of them burn as expected.

The BenQ seems to totally ignore my LBA for 'Shifted Middle Area Start Address' and 'Manual Layer Jump Address' - although the commands I send ARE accepted.

The Pioneer accepts the addresses the BenQ ignores but then errors out as soon as it starts to burn L1 with the error 'Invalid Address For Write'.

I'm sure basic (DAO style) LJR shouldn't be THIS difficult to get working! DVD-R DL media is very expensive and I can't afford to mess around!

This guy took the source code for DVD Decrypter and expanded on it I swear it. Looks like a clone of it.
