hello I do hope i am in the right forum. I have windows xp..using both latest explorer and mozilla browsers. have a dell laptop mod 1100 i use for operant training.

If my computer is not in use for awhile, it goes into a hybernation mode, and when it come back on, i have to reset my device settings each and every time, Is there a fix to this? i have a mouse pad using the synaptics pointing device. This also will happen if the puter is turned off and then turned back on.

Tell ya the truth I never mess with hibernation but usually if there is a problem the solution will either be a bios update, mbd chipset or vid driver update. If it hangs then check event viewer to see if a program locks coming out of suspend.
