i've heard that since something like 4.9 or somethign like that was spyware "free"... yet on my friends computer i still found like 10 different forms of crapware

not sure if he had the latests

But i guess also it depends on what you download from limewire? like if all you do is download the normal 3-4MB song then thats ok? but download porn or a programme then i expect its alot more likely its infected? or am is my thoery totally wrong?

i dont like the "free" versions of LimeWire.

I have version 4.10, the semi-latest one, that i payed for. It's way better than free.

even songs CAN contain viruses.

get one that has a regular title such as "Green Day - Holiday", and not "Green day holiday simplemp3s".

Downloading porno is ok as long as it isnt a zip/rar file. MPG's that seem like the right size are OK.

Programs can get pretty fishy....

no spyware in it. there is no difference in the free version versus the paid version except the paid version has no ads.. Ive tested the downloads on free vs paid searches, etc, no difference.
