It seemed like a good option but I think it only works on Logitech keyboards. I tried it on mine and it said that I need to plug in a compatible device.

Bumping isnt going to get you anywhere. Other than Osiris no one knows. Auto Hotkey would be the only other solution.

yeah, my post just got buried with the flood of Win 7 posts. I swear I read an article long time ago how to turn Caps Lock into anything but Google can't give me anything close ...

Someone on another site said this is possible with An Auto Hotkey program. However I have no idea how to create the script. What I would want is to turn the Caps Lock key into a pause/play button and nothing more.
