Talking Keymapping on a windows laptop

I know there are lots of software programs which can keymap your entire keyboard.

Is it possible to get a Play/Pause button out of a chosen key on a keyboard (eg. Caps Lock)?

BTW this would be for a Samsung X360

It seemed like a good option but I think it only works on Logitech keyboards. I tried it on mine and it said that I need to plug in a compatible device.

Anybody have an idea? My thread needs a bump because of all the Win 7 posts.

Bumping isnt going to get you anywhere. Other than Osiris no one knows. Auto Hotkey would be the only other solution.

yeah, my post just got buried with the flood of Win 7 posts. I swear I read an article long time ago how to turn Caps Lock into anything but Google can't give me anything close ...

Someone on another site said this is possible with An Auto Hotkey program. However I have no idea how to create the script. What I would want is to turn the Caps Lock key into a pause/play button and nothing more.

Here is the site: AutoHotkey - Free Mouse and Keyboard Macro Program with Hotkeys and AutoText
