Well, I went back and reinstalled the Vista pack, and then uninstalled it again.

So far, it seems to be working. I'll keep it under watch for a while though, and post back if if goes nuts again.

The whole time I was having this problem, I had a flash drive plugged in my comp. I unplugged it just before I reinstalled and uninstalled the transformation pack. I dunno if that might have contributed or not.

When I uninstalled the transformation pack the first time, I think I screwed up and clicked a dialog too soon. Things are still working OK for now.
