IRQ and DMA Channel Questions

hey guys, im having trouble finding the answer to these 2 questions so im hoping someone here can help me........

1. Which IRQ's are available when installing a new device??

2. Which DMA Channel is used for 16-bit devices??

Those questions really dont make much sense.
First, unless your in windows 95 or lower, all that info is automatically assigned.

If that is the case, you can find free IRQ's by checking your device manager.
