Hello all, I just built this computer, I just got it to detect the sata drives but now the Windows XP Pro I installed gives me the invalid boot. INI File message. I tried using the recovery console but I get the same result. I used the Bootcfg tool but it still. Any other possible solutions?

Does it matter if the Bios is set on os install mode?

here is what happened: After typing EXIT it reboots and restarts the installation process b/c the boot sequence is still set for cd drive. But before that happens I reset it to boot from and turn off the OS install mode and the HD and starts giving me the same message. This is a dell mother board model A02 for dimension 4600. I never saw the up dated boot list was i supposed to re-enter the recovery console?
