IE would hang up and i would get this : Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Now when i start my computer it pops up and i cant use IE at all. When i click 'Dont Send' i get a 'Server Busy...' then when i hit Retry i get a script error. I can get rid of it when I do a System Restore, but it's only good for a couple of days and then it happens again. Help! anyone?

Hi, Here are a few things you can try if you haven't already. ![]() Go to Control Panel/Add/Remove programs Find IE in the list and click "Change/Remove" Choose "Repair" from the dialog and run through the process Note that "sometimes" IE doesn't appear in the Add/Remove Panel. Failing that... Go to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/...s/default.mspx and download/install IE over itself and see if that sorts it out. Or if you are due to upgrade - use the Windows Update link to upgrade to the latest version. Failing that... Take this as a sign that it's time to try/use a "better" browser. ![]() Go to http://www.mozilla.org/ and download/install either Firefox 0.9.1 or Mozilla 1.7 and use one or the other. I don't think, in the long run you will be disappointed with either. Built in popup blocker Tabbed browsing Stability many more nice features Sorry I can't be any more help than that -IE is a quirky bugger sometimes. Good luck Daf

Good for you! ![]() Once you download it... go to Edit/Preferences and set it the way you want it. You'll need to enable the popup blocker. Also check out the "Tabbed Browsing" - that's a great feature as well. I think you will find that it's a faster internet experience as well. Daf
