Default interactive services dialog detection

Hi,

In the last couple of days I've started receiving an error message that I can't seem to get rid of. It starts with an "Interactive services" box in the taskbar.

That says "A program can't display a message on your desktop". When you click on it another dialog box will open titled.
"Microsoft visual c++ runtime library"
Runtime Error!
Program C:/windows/system32/spoolsv.exe
This application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
Please contact the applications support team for more information.

And also my firefox stops responding after about ten minutes. The entire system has also crashed a few times also.

Thanks for any help.

What Operating System are you running? Have you tried to reinstall the Visual C++ Runtime Library?

I am running a 64 bit operating system vista.

No, I haven't tried reinstalling the Visual C++ Runtime Library. Well...ummm....honestly I don't really know what its purpose is.

It has a wide range of uses. It is mainly used to create Windows applications. But it can also be used as a reference by those applications after their install. It is complicated to try and explain.

What are you trying to run when this message comes up?

Download details: Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x64)

Try installing that see if it helps. If not i will have to try and find you a updated version.
