I have xp pro with SP2 installed on my old computer (that I am using now). When i set up my new machine in a couple weeks, can I also install xp pro on that as well (they will both be connected to the net via my network at home). Will I have to buy another copy of xp pro for the 2nd machine? Will I still be able to use windows update?

because of legal reasons, you will need to buy a second copy aka license of xp. yes you will be able to use windows update on both pcs
