Default installing windows xp

I am trying to reinstall Windows XP and it is at the point where I need to partition the drive, my options are

To set up Window

to create a partition in the unpartined space press c

to delete the selected partition press b

C:\partition 1

(sorry it is incomplete helping someone over the phone) which option should I pick?

c is the partition that your going to install windows,delete the partition(pressing D) then create a partitiond in the unpartitioned space which is c: \ partition 1

Are you going to try and save some data from the previous install??

If so, you should press c and create a new partition.

If they don't care about any old data, click d, delete the old partition, then creat a new partition over the old one and use that for the XP install.
