| True Techie | I'm havin' such a great time trying to do a fresh install of Windows XP. :-D Not really... Anyway... Well, this didn't start out as a fresh install, I was using Paragon Partition Manager to get a new partition on my harddrive, well it froze while trying to complete it, I left it on for about 2 hours, and nothing... I decided to restart the computer (bad idea) when I did this, so I ran Max Blaster 4 reformatted the drive, and inserted the Windows XP (legit copy) and rebooted, well now when I try to install it, it says I need to insert the Windows XP, 2000, ME, 98SE, 98, 95 disk. I ejected the CD rom, and put the CD back in... It said strike any key when ready, but I CAN'T FIND THE ANYKEY BUTTON?!?!?! ( (Joke) I struck the key and the same window popped up, I can't figure out what is wrong? :-( Any help? Thanks a lot Jeremiah. |

it's an upgrade disc. Silent_Joka. you need another os disc since this is an upgrade disc. they make you verify that you have a previous version of windows. LOL. when the say any key, they mean any key that is on the keyboard, not a key named anykey http://www.windowsxphome.windowsrein...exfullpage.htm
