Yet again, more problems with permissions.

On installing americas army for Vista, i double click the setup executable in my C:\ Downloads folder, and then it extracts to a tempory folder under Users\"me"\AppData\Temp but at the end of the extraction it fails with the message "could not extract KernelES, please check your permissions", my friend also has the problem.

If we try to tun the setup as Administrator, it just crashes explorer. We've checked C:\ and we have full permissions on every folder and subfolder aswell.

I did manage to get mine to work, but i need an answer for my mate. For some reason after i tried a few times it asked for permission after crashing - i then did it again and it worked. But this isn't working for my friend, so anyone know any genuine solutions ?

I would right click on the disk, and go into the compatibility wizard, and run it for Windows XP SP2.
